The goal of this course is to teach the basic knowledge and skills to explain the attitude necessary for safe handling and storage of guns in the home.

• We will review National Safety Council Statistics on deaths from firearm accidents.
• Know the major causes of firearm accidents.
• Learn the basic elements of gun safety.
• Learn the fundamental safe gun handling safety rules.
